Burwell-Dinkins-Anderson House

Built in Selma, Alabama, in 1898, the historic Burwell-Dinkins-Anderson House represents the history of three families dedicated to social justice, democracy and the advancement of all people.

The three story Victorian style mansion, complete with stained glass windows and staircase was an architectural masterpiece in Selma and remains one of the most impressive private homes still in existence.

The home has historical and architectural integrity to its period of significance and meets the registration requirements of the Civil Rights Movement in Selma, Alabama, 1865-1972. Burwell-Dinkins-Anderson House was listed on the National Register of HIstoric Places on June 17, 2022.
